Frequently Asked Questions

How long will my session be?
Family and children sessions will last 1 hour. Senior sessions are about 3 hours {1 hour for hair & makeup, 2 hours of shooting}

What should I wear for my session?
I recommend you wear something that showcases your style and personality. Please make sure you pick an outfit that you feel comfortable and confident in. For a family session, you should definitely compliment each other but avoid being overly matchy matchy. For a senior session you can choose up to 3 outfits that best represent your style. I will help you plan the perfect looks for your session and will provide you links to my “what to wear” style Pinterest boards.

Where will my session take place?
That is totally up to you! If you are unsure of where you want you session to be I can give you plenty of suggestions. Together we will pick the perfect spot for you or your family.

How far in advance should I schedule my session?
As soon as you want! I only accept 1-2 clients a week to give each client a very personal, custom and hands on experience. So to ensure you get your desired date please schedule your session weeks in advance.

What is a Session Premier?
Your session premier takes place about 2 weeks after your session in the comfort of your home. I will bring examples of all of the beautiful prints, albums and other products I offer to show you. Your session premier is one of my favorite parts of the portrait experience because you will get to view all of your images and I will help you with designing all your custom art for your home and help you place your order.

What forms of payment do you accept?
I currently only accept cash and check at this time.

Do you offer digital files?
Yes I do! Digital files are available in some of the portrait collection packages as well as al la carte. Digital images come with a print release and a suggested company of where to print from.

Why are digital files so valuable?
When you purchase digital files, you are receiving the artist’s original artwork and all of the time and talent it took to create and edit those beautiful images with printing rights. It’s a pretty valuable thing!
